A tender and delicious crispbread baked according to old family recipes. Brown-baked, which is baked a little longer than normal-baked, is slightly browner and has a richer flavor. The bread was created when Martin, son of founders Jon Olof and Anna, took care of ‘failed’ cakes that had been over-baked. This bread was sold in the bakery stall to the people of Leksand, who liked it for its special taste. When Martin saw the positive demand, it led to the launch of Brungräddat as a new product in the mid-60s, now one of our most popular breads.
