The benefits of crispbread made with whole grain rye
You feel more satisfied during the day if you eat whole grain rye crispbread instead of white bread. This test is done on rye flour porridge and white bread. We then also made it together with SLU on crispbread and white bread. It shows that what you eat for breakfast affects how full you are and how you feel throughout the day. The test group felt 25% more full from morning to lunch and ate 7% less at lunch. This is because whole grain rye contains 21% fiber, which is a slow carbohydrate that makes you feel fuller.
