Baked with fossil-free energy
Since 1956 we heat all hot water and also our premises with waste heat from the ovens. In Dalarna we have fantastic renewable energy, which is why we run our entire bakery with wind and hydropower by nature all around. Since 2013, we have been completely fossil-free.
Water from a spring underneath the bakery
From the crystal clear water you bake the best crispbread. From below the bakery Badelundaåsen runs. From that water we bake our crispbread.
We love local resources, which is why we bake our good crispbread with rye grown by the farmers in our neighborhood.
Crispbread should be crispbread. Therefore, we only bake with natural ingredients and never use any additives.
